Of Unreal Tournaments, Friendly Fire, Record Turnouts, and Jonboy beating levels in 30 seconds ...
(Also, a new recommended software list)
Last night it was Unreal Tournament, courtesy of Jonboy running a UT server. It's only the second night we've used it and nearly everything works, even downloading custom maps. Kudos to jonboy.
We had friendly fire turned on for a while. It certainly makes things more interesting, if you're into getting killed in your spawn area by friendly fire.
Part of what made the friendly fire possible was the great turnout. At one point we couldn't get everybody on my vent server. Hopefully we'll see people back next week for starcraft.
At least in Starcraft I have a shot at things. We had two real players last night, and most games were won and lost according to their placement.
