I've always loved overhead shooters. Sky Shark. Galaga. 1943. 19XX. Just to name a few. So when I found out there was a really good overhead shooter out for Gamecube, I had to pick it up.

For most of the summer, occasional trips to Wal-Mart have yielded me the privilege of playing an excellent arcade game called San Francisco Rush 2049. I was dismayed to find out yesterday that it had been removed and replaced with Cruisin' World. That game is no substitute for Rush...

Picked up Batman: The Dark Knight Returns over the weekend. I've been hearing lots of good things about it for quite awhile, so when I saw it in graphic novel form at B&N, I had to pick it up.

Last night, I finally watched Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I had high expecations, as the first Vampire Hunter D is one of my favorite animes. Though it didn't quite live up to the first one, it was very good. Unfortunately, my overall experience watching it was injured by a poor DVD.
